Our Story

Holistic Intuitive & Healer

Angie over the last 25 year, has worked as an Aromatherapist, Holistic Intuitive and Healer. She loves the fascinating side the Universe can present itself to us. She began making candles with essential oils which proved relaxing and rewarding with such therapeutic benefits for her clients.

Since the birth of Bea Loves in 2017, Angie’s business expanded from working in her kitchen to a large log cabin workshop situated in her garden. The business grew to be very busy and I offered to help out. In 2024 I bought the business, allowing Angie to pursue other interests.
I have over thirty years of retail knowledge and I have studied Art, Interior Design and Floristry. I love anything creative and I’m hoping all these elements will enable me to expand this already successful range, as well as creating some new and exciting ones!

A garden, whether large or small, is a haven of peace and contemplation, helping you become at one with nature and experience the benefits for your mental health and wellbeing; plants teach us about the importance of wildlife and the environment so we can all live side by side in peace and tranquillity.

Industry in Quiet Places

Here we love good old Yorkshire value for money, we love making quality products and selling them at affordable prices so they can be for everyone to try and enjoy. It is part of our Yorkshire heritage. Our artisan studio is where everything is handmade with great love and pride by our small team.
Original creator, Angie’s great grandfather Robert ‘The Mouseman’ Thompson, was a believer of ‘industry in quiet places’, where local people were employed with respect. Men were trained as craftsmen for life and the workplace was part of the village community for all to enjoy. This successful ethos still continues today in Kilburn.
